I had a lovely Easter with good food and small children and lovely relatives for about twenty-seven hours. In that time I washed several particular dishes and cooking pots three or four times because they were the thing I kept needing. I’m still doing the last of the dishes from Monday night.

It was the BEST. Completely worthwhile.

Here’s a stained glass window of Christ knocking on a door, with his lantern at his side. I’m not sure why this image is so often a night time deal but here it is, cleaned up as best I can. It is a very Easter image in its own way.

Stained glass windows like this are terribly hard to capture with my little Android phone. This one starts about eight feet off the ground and goes up about twenty more feet!
