I’m working on getting information to the lovely person who is formatting my book. And a good thing she’s doing it. I am moving very slowly.
I found an article about tektites in Australia and would like to comment on it but it’s taking too long this morning! Suffice for the moment to say that tektites, small, black, glassy objects that are sufficiently anomalous that they are picked up and enjoyed wherever they are found, are a big deal to me. Australian tektites in particular have been very odd because their last melting date does not coincide with their stratigraphic dates. The difference is about 10,000 years old, vs. 788,000 years old. I’ll have comments on the article next week.
That’s all for today. I’m going to see the doc this afternoon and he will remove my bandages and tell me things. I hope. Have a pretty picture.
