I got some einkorn flour from my subscription flour service and tried to make short bread. It tastes okay but is extremely hard. More like hardtack than a tender cookie… I was going to try a pie crust because everyone says that these ancient grains make lovely pie crust but… let’s be honest. Pie crust and short bread are not that different. They both involve a lot of flour and butter. So I’m not feeling confident right now in my cooking abilities.

Pinning those miters takes five or ten minutes at a time. Sewing them is not a piece of cake (or pie) either.
I have a picture of lots of those miters sewn down but my email won’t produce it. Every now and then I send myself an email and it takes ten hours to come. Maybe I’ll just do an update with a picture later.
